Trueline is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join its team in transmission project management. This role is crucial for developing accurate proposals and estimates for high-voltage transmission projects.


What You'll Do as the Electrical Estimator:

- Craft comprehensive estimates for transmission projects, analyzing specifications and drawings

- Develop project schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet client deadlines

- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

- Contribute to proposal development, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements

- Provide technical guidance on project delivery methods for successful bids

- Assist in budget development and monitor contract changes for awarded projects

- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth project transitions


Must-Haves as the Electrical Estimator:

- 3+ years of experience in transmission, high voltage, or substation estimating

- Strong proficiency in scheduling and estimating software (e.g., HCSS) and MS Office suite

- Ability to perform conceptual estimates with limited design information

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent estimates

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


Nice-To-Haves as the Electrical Estimator:

- Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience

- Familiarity with safety protocols in electrical engineering projects

- Experience in developing innovative project completion methods

- Knowledge of contractual requirements in the electrical engineering sector
