Trueline is seeking an Automation Assembly Technician to join their team in a dynamic production environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and construction of cutting-edge automation systems.

What You'll Do as the Automation Assembly Technician:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of custom automation projects
  • Interpret and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints
  • Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams to maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs)
  • Support Automation Technicians in developing new automation systems
  • Assist in the construction of custom assembly automation equipment
  • Maintain precise time logging for projects
  • Contribute to various tasks that support the company's goals and objectives

Must-Haves as the Automation Assembly Technician:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education is preferred
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring and crimping, including experience with various wire gauges and cable assemblies
  • Skill in operating power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret production job orders and bills of materials
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical components, bearings, and pneumatic systems
  • Basic knowledge of electrical sensors, PLCs, motor drives, and vision systems
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work alongside technicians and engineers
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
  • Willingness to travel for service calls or machine installations when needed

Nice-To-Haves as the Automation Assembly Technician:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Advanced knowledge of pneumatic systems and components
  • Familiarity with automation industry standards and best practices
  • Experience with CAD software or 3D modeling tools
